MINIMUM

Bored and totally alienated by the Britpop scene of the 90s, we decided to copy Oasis. But instead of ripping off the Beatles we'd rip off Kraftwerk, resulting in debut album 'The World of Tomorrow'.
The obvious next step would be to repeat the formula, so we didn't. We looked to the floor of Spitalfields Market for source material. Discarded vinyl and sampled market sounds produced 'Market Led'.
The third album, 'Synthetik', was the result of a desire to combine an exploration of virtual synths with both traditional song structures and more experimental ideas.
All released on Mute Records.

Komputer are Simon Leonard and David Baker.
